More Chairs making results...

This is a wooden stool I made earlier, interesting result thought its process. It was a woodcut for printing, image of the bottle reflection. After I finished printing I decided to give it legs. Just like another experimental work for my chair research, and 2D transformation to 3D.

I decided to make a simplify sculpture chair, appeared to me the Bauhaus was aim for uncomplicated shape. I am thinking about using screen printing frabics and wrap around it.

Dream of Blue Chair

Around the time Christmas is over, one night I had a dream was still memorable, which was very unusual because I can remember the whole thing and some particular objects; dream was about I live in this aged house, not alone with some strangers. We were clearing something and then someone gave me a blue chair, is like an Art Nouveau style, with Cornflower Blue fabric. Only thing I couldn’t remember was hoe it ended.

So I wanted to find out more about dreams meaning and the blue chair, this is the results.....

Starting Point

Starting new project 'Relic', I wanted to try something new like being more objective going. Because I am used to an abstrative methods....the mosh pit, collages, energic. I am actually starting to think about cups, glass bottle (everyday life objects).

ABSTRACT AMERICA:
NEW PAINTING AND SCULPTURE

Right before Christmas I went to visited the Saatchi Gallery, of the exhibition ‘Abstract America: New Painting and sculpture’. It was an exciting show to see which feature some of my beloved contemporary artists, including Kristin Barker and Mark Bradford.

During the visit I also found some new physical form; overwhelming my perspective of American Art. Some of the Memorable artists were Sterling Ruby and Guerra de la Paz.
Sterling Ruby suggested relative to the human body, horror films. But What I found most unusual is the perspective changing of your own distance to the artwork; standing closely to ‘Kiss Trap Kismet’ is like watching the most graceful moderate patterns. Conversely if you are walking to the artwork is like belonging in its horror film, corporeal hallucination phenomenon.
